Little Tangles: Envelope Challenge

The new Neat & Tangled challenge is up over at Little Tangles! Are you ready?

I have been waiting, waiting and waiting for a cool street sign stamp set. Neat and Tangled's On the Corner and Stop and Go are exactly what I was waiting for and more. :) They are super hip, super fun...and sell out super fast! Ha! It took me a few times waiting for a new shipment to come in but I FINALLY got them. Yay. Okay, on to the card...

I stamped the card with On the Corner. The adorable journaling card and patterned paper are from the new Dear Lizzy collection Day Dreamer. I stamped the street sign in grey and then colored it in a warmer grey. When I was coloring I made sure to stay in the lines, rather then cross them so you can still see the fun detail of the stamp.

Next, I made a coordinating envelope with Stop and Go. The "for" sentiment is perfect for the front of an envelope. Now it's ready to be addressed!

I can't wait to see what you create! I'm committing to stop by EVERY PERSONS BLOG WHO ENTERS THE CHALLENGE this week. So I'll see you  over on your blog soon! :)

Mama Elephant: October Anniversary Stampede!

It's Mama Elephant Birthday Stampede time!  This is so awesome, right? I'm so excited you've joined me from Stephanie's blog! Today I'm a sharing a lot of stamping goodness! Now that I'm counting, my card uses 4 new Mama Elephant stamp sets ! This card all started with the sentiment. My kids are always buzzing around the house singing and one of their favorite is Everything is Awesome (Lego Movie anyone?). :) I started with a faint pencil line to create AWESOME from the new Block Party Letters . I colored them in with Copics and then did some creative masking and stamping from Happy Everything to add the beginning of the sentiment. Next I stamped the penguin and hat (from the new Artic Penguins ), colored them and die cut them for a perfect cut. The soft, grey striped background was created using the new Boutique Borders . All stamps and dies can be purchased NOW at the Mama Elephant store HERE . Next up? The very talented JJ Bolton !

Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to
