Mama Elephant: Magical Moments

This week is flyin' by sharing Mama Elephant's new release! I was finishing up a few more cards yesterday (that I will share later this month) and I have to tell you that working with these stamps gets better and better. :) I can't wait to make even more! Today's card features Magical Moments . This set is all about sentiments. I started by inking the blue sky with Fresh Mint  on a die cut panel from Sew Fancy  and then stamped the sentiment. I added a few stamped stars from Magical Moments  and then die cut  a some stars from Confetti Creative Cuts. The hedgehog was stamped from Ella & Friends , colored with Copics and die cut with the coordinating Creative Cuts . I love how the hedgehog is holding a star. :) I ground the scene with a strip of washi tape. The card was finished with a die cut patterned paper panel and a large cardstock panel ( from Sew Fancy again ). I just adore this sentiment and of coarse the hedgehog too! Thanks for stoppin

Mama Elephant: Photo Bomb

Hi Everyone! I'm back, sharing another new stamp set from Mama Elephant ! This is such a fun, trendy set! It's full of images ready to be colored. I had a blast coloring this large selfie (or is it groupie?). ;) I used Copic markers to mixed up skin tones and hair colors. I kept the clothing bright and fun to go with the birthday sentiment. I can't wait to color the other images in this set! I mated the colored image on a white panel from Sew Fancy and then a larger mat from Peek a Frame . To add a little interest I stamped the herringbone pattern from Zenith Borders  at an angle. Aren't they a fun bunch? :) Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant: Ella & Friends

I'm back today with another card featuring the new Mama Elephant stamp set Ella & Friends . This set has it all. If you haven't seen my card from yesterday, take a second to peek at it to see the versatility of this set. ;) To create this card I started by stamping Ella the elephant. :) I stamped the little umbrella and party hat to accessorize. All the images were colored with Copics and cut with the coordinating Creative Cuts . The grassy hill was created using Landscape Trio  and the front panel was cut using Peek a Frame . It's a super fun card that is ready for the rush of Spring birthdays coming up! Thanks for stopping by!

Mama Elephant March Stampede!

Welcome to the Mama Elephant Release Design Team blog hop! Our newest release is now live and available for purchase in the store! www.mamaelephant.com I am so excited to share the new stamp set Ella & Friends with you! There are so many fun images to choose from in this set that all centers around the BEST elephant stamp ever. ;) I started my scene by stamping the elephant, then I masked in the bunny and bubble blower. Finally, I stamped the bubbles, puddle and splashes. I was SO fun to create. I colored the images with Copics and added a little ink to complete my scene. I trimmed it down to fit inside of the Instalove Creative Cuts and stamped the sentiment. I know you'll agree that stamping this set is super fun but first... To celebrate the new release, Mama Elephant is picking 3 winners to win their choice of stamp set! Winners will be chosen at random from the collective blogs in the Stampede. You have up to 4 chances to qualify to

Paper Smooches: Treasure Box Card

Ahoy! Hehe. I LOVE that Paper Smooches came out with coordinating dies to one of my favorite sets, Ahoy Me Hearty . I created a mini treasure chest card that would be so cute for a lunch box note, party favor, thank you or just about anything. ;) I wanted to create curved edges on the sides of the card to create a treasure box shape. Paper Smooches has some great dies to cut the perfect edge. Not too flat, not too rounded. Notice the stitched edge? Here is how I did it...  I started by cutting a mat 3 1/2 inches by 4 1/4. Next I lined up two dies, Quotables Dies  on the outside edge and  Stitched Dies  on the inside edge. The curves aren't exactly the same but with a little washi tape I was able to secure them snuggly together.  I stamped, die cut and colored the items from Ahoy Me Matey and layered them on a gold frame cut from Fancy Frames Icons . The sequins from Pretty Pink Posh add the perfect finishing touch. :) Now, one last tip. I created
